Our Story
A different kind of wedding day
At Akuna Estate, we believe the most meaningful weddings are the ones where you can look across and only see the faces you love most. Our micro-wedding package brings together everything you need: the celebrant, the flowers, the photographer, the cake, the bubbles, and two nights to wake up married, so all that’s left for you to do is be present.
Two hours and twelve people, the couple plus up to ten guests. Not because we’re limiting you, but because we believe in the beauty of intention.

Two nights in a solar-powered luxury glamping tent, handmade in Brisbane by Eco Tents Australia. Quietly off-grid, beautifully appointed, and entirely yours for the celebration and the morning after.
Glamping is for the couple only. Guests arrange their own accommodation nearby, and we’re happy to recommend places close by.

Your bridal bouquet and ceremony florals are cut from the rows growing just beyond the gazebo: cosmos, dahlias and seasonal garden blooms, gathered the day before and arranged by hand. Nothing flown in, nothing forced. Whatever the farm is offering the week you marry.

Planning your day · Getting here. Running Stream NSW is roughly 3 hours from Sydney, an easy drive from Mudgee and Bathurst. Flowers are seasonal, and guests book their own accommodation nearby.
What’s the total cost?
Our all-inclusive micro-wedding is $8,500 incl. GST. Founding couples booking the inaugural date (Saturday 12 September 2026) pay just $6,800, 20% off, saving $1,700. Three spots only.
What’s included in the package?
Everything for the day and the stay: a registered celebrant and all legal paperwork, a professional photographer, your bridal bouquet and ceremony florals from our farm, bubbles for everyone, a wedding cake, two nights of luxury glamping for the couple, two breakfasts, a welcome wine-and-cheese platter, and a cook-your-own dinner pack.
How many guests can we have?
Up to 10 guests plus the couple, 12 people maximum. The intimacy is the point: a day where you can look across and only see the faces you love most.
How far is it from Sydney, Mudgee and Bathurst?
Akuna Estate is at Running Stream NSW, roughly 3 hours’ drive from Sydney, and an easy trip from Mudgee or Bathurst. It sits comfortably between The Blue Mountains and Mudgee.
Is the glamping for guests too?
No, the luxury glamping tent is for the couple only, for both nights. Guests arrange their own accommodation nearby, and we’re glad to recommend lovely places close by.
What dates are available?
Weddings run on the second Saturday of each month from September 2026 to April 2027, except February, where it falls on a special Valentine’s Day Sunday (Sunday 14 February 2027). Ceremony times are 10:00am, 1:00pm and 4:00pm, with a maximum of three ceremonies per day.
Is the celebrant and legal paperwork included?
Yes. A registered celebrant and all the legal documentation required to marry in NSW are included in the package, and we take care of the formalities so you don’t have to.
What are the ceremony settings?
Two options: our open-air garden gazebo beside the cut-flower rows (included in every package), or the heritage 1905 stone chapel as an optional +$300 upgrade.
Where do our guests stay?
Guests book their own accommodation nearby. Favourites include The Royal Hotel Capertee, Wildnest and Turon Gates, call Helen on (+61) 414 886 162 for personalised recommendations.
What happens across the two nights?
You arrive to a welcome platter of local wine, cheese and crackers. Enjoy a cook-your-own dinner one evening, breakfast in the tent for each morning (provided for you to enjoy at your leisure), and the quiet luxury of waking up married in your solar-powered glamping tent.
